Phew. Where to begin?

The worst kept secret in EFU, Beauxregard Winespill was a Knave of 99. I fundamentally love Crime on EFU because it takes the entire world and turns it into a blank slate sandbox. You can do whatever you want. You can raise empires, you can tear down cities, you can commit boundless atrocities. When it worked it was like heroin.  I'm proud to say I had fingerprints on a huge deal of activity since day one of character creation, when at level 4 I attacked William Thorne and Lord Aethelwine Solthilde during a ritual in Ticker Square and began copying PCs sending styles to make people question who was and who wasn't a knave.

So. First off:

Beauxregard Winespill was indeed a phyisician turned Hunter from the Mongrelwoods but after the contract he grew to hate almost everything Ring 99 stood for. The Peerage ground up boys like him into pulps for old fat nobles and Ticker Square would sell a baby for a nickel.

However he did not care about hunting monsters. His philosophy was "If you make tools to kill monsters, they work exceedingly well upon men". He was an Apothecary Alchemist/Tinkerer/Herbalist who used his craft to proliferate an arms race among many PC factions of ill intention.

He would also use his Lycanthrope Research to create Apothecary Perk Polymorph Self potions (Sadly never got to turn myself into a Werewolf, or a Vampire, alas) to terrorzie people as a Minotaur.

He set out to terrorize Ring 99 after a priest named Daniel Bolger told him so long as Grandfather got his due, he could do whatever he wanted, if he helped avenge his deceased brother Barney. The fat man took the name Barney and Beauxregard took the world by storm. Sadly I never got to reach Baz'eel as a Knave to murder and terrorize ring runners. (A concept for another time)

Quote from: Application
Act 1 - Of the Silver Hats: I intend to fully pursue the Blade Boom with the Silver Hats, having them claiming turf and contesting with others for contracts and trying to take a larger role in affairs.  Eventually though Blue41 and I will have a growing rivalry as we spread tension between the Silver Hats and the Boundarymen creating a great potential smokescreen for any criminal activity surrounding Ticker. Eventually this will climax with him "Banishing" me. Not from Ticker as he no authority for that, but to see me barred from the Open Door. At this point I would move to the Peerage and take up Silver Hat Contracts ala the Witcher, working out of the Casino and hunting for the Royal Huntmaster, Changelings, and otherwise.

Act 2 - Of the Peerage: Operating out of the Casino I intend to see a Black Market flourish in the Peerage. A rise of harder drugs and similar among the Vale, Demonic and Devilish tools for the Orza, Necromantic tools for the Sunpurse, and basically try to RP it as an International Arms Dealer selling darker and more twisted tools for Duels and Murder to the less savory powers that be in the Peerage. Ultimately the goal would be stoking serious strife with Nephezar and Glitt against the other three Houses, and in the smokescreen of that chaos spread all kinds of crime.

Ultimately if it comes to it and PCs/NPCs push hard enough, joining House Velstra and burrowing deeper into the Vale to spread my chaos.

Act 3 - Of the Knaves: While my PC is loyal to Blue41's vendetta against the Guildmasters my character's my own agenda for the Knaves will be to take up the mask to remind people WHY they're supposed to be afraid of the Knaves. Public Murders, chaos, anarchy, mayhem.  Uncompromising and unhinged in Grandfather's name. Where other PCs of mine have been more diplomatic or tried to convert people, with this PC I intend to stack a serious body count as stylishly as I can.

Using the Public Speeches forum to make public death threats against individual PCs, Whispers in-Mask and public bombings, mayhem and poisonings, unleashing Demon and Devil attacks, and likewise terror. Even commencing daring robberies of Ring Runners and merchants who are in The Crossroads. Having Ticker PCs afraid of losing their lives and coins, having the Peers afraid of the dark again, and trying to become the biggest villain on the server with bigger and more daring and depraved escapades.

Act 1 and 2 came out quite nicely. Act 3 was where things got a bit dicey but I am thrilled to say I had a hand in or left my finger prints on a great deal of most everything evil and horrible that occurred the last few months.

Manipulation and subterfuge on EFU are sometimes not so appreciated.

- Meetings, information dealings, plans and meetings to sell bombs with the Timeless Cult to blow up House Nephezar's blood bank
- Meetings, information dealings, plans and meetings to sell bombs with the Recondite to bring chaos and terror
- Meetings, information dealings, plans and meetings to sell bombs and narcotics to various PC factions (Wayward was not the first attempt, just the one that worked the best)
- Pushing PCs who otherwise weren't fighting into conflict that even at times lead to FDs.
- He convinced a woman to fight in an arena to the death against a DC 17 Will Save, else be executed by Orzan and Blackjacks0
- He held "Salons" to get dirt on nobility and play all the Houses against each other
- He helped the Elves target Padernig then wrote sad letters to his grieving wife
- He manipulated Ticker Square mercenaries against the Merchants during the Knave Hunt
- Vomiting on Saibhon was a targeted "hit" for a third party, sacrificing his public reputation for Grandfather

If it wasn't me meeting directly with a PC it was a PC from one of a great many factions operating at my behest, which was really fun to try and track the ripples of things.

Oh

And we won the Torc War, And I gave Krin the infamous Bebelith, and so much more I can't share yet!

Three Permadeath Events were required with sizable consequences, but me and two PCs acting on one one of my batshit crazy schemes managed to topple the entire Merchant's Guild.

You're welcome, Papa Velstra.

Bahahaha, as Padernig's former player, I have to laugh about this. Once he died, the letters were like, "Whether you commit suicide or decide to stay alive, I won't judge." Seriously serial killer shit when you realize Beaux was a knave the whole time, and it was all brilliant.

Well done, sir.

Well played! You were a sneaky bastard. Also Padernig and Dani were just courting, they never actually got married. But even though you were the one who pushed to have him killed, Dani will be sad to learn that Beau has now died. Rip!

-UnholyWon-

I wish I could have interacted with Beaux during his hayday. Good job!!
Discord - Howlando: UnholyWon, an Elder Thing that has crawled from the depths of Chapter 1, many a nature-pc and adventurer played in the past... a rare sighting IG in recent chapters, but perhaps less rare than we realize. Beware his professional insight into the minds of the mentally disturbed.

Red Moon

" . . .The Winespill seems to have grown fond of the Groat. I suppose he would when his endeavors to distribute 'sundries' in Ticker failed. A handsome fellow, but I do suppose they all are. I wonder if it's the hair color, or the way his jaw looks in poor lighting that rattles the senses? Or could it be partial to an innate instinct that lay deep within, buried for hundreds of years -- That covet the decorated histories of his loins."   - Domina Lucretia, Journal Entry

Beauxregard was flamboyant, and quite known to exert an air of high society. He dressed well, was groomed, and likely spoke with a melody attached to his words. That's just my personal impression. In many ways he used this as his own cover. To not be taken too seriously, and often his Knavery label was dismissed because of it which was a brilliant usage of perception. It also gave him that Winespill flare of constant talk and gossip. What trouble he seemed to get himself into that became the conversation of the Ward.

When Beau and Lucretia met, she thought that they were going to be good friends. But by the end, she would have been pleased to watch him hang. He had interfered with her on more than one occasion, and it always seemed like he was trying to one up her somehow. Intruding on her conversations and turning it against her to some how offend retainers. When she brought a date to the Velstran wedding, Beauxregard brought three. He became her rival, almost. But they were mostly civil in their quiet despute. Mostly.

Well done! Well played. Adieu.
