A series of bellows introducing the new Employee Protection Act signed into law by Legates Faith Kruehtzer and Vellyn Lhyrian.

QuoteLive and drink. I am pleased to announce that myself and Legate Lhyrian have jointly signed the Employee Protection Act. As we approach the beginning of construction for the new district, this law shall protect workers and labourers, old and new, as they build the Well up and outwards.

This Act covers a number of work related topics ranging from a minimum wage, compensation from workplace injuries, and weekends. A sign detailing the Act has been erected on the first floor of the Palatial Pyramid.

Furthermore, to give employers time to make any changes needed to come into compliance with these new laws, the Act shall not come into full effect until two weeks from now--that is the 4th of Qdim.

Despite the many threats and dangers we face in this world, Ephia's Well shall refuse to believe that we cannot build a better future or a better home. May all whom contribute to its glory be justly rewarded for their work. That is all. Thank you.
