Meet the Malatestas:[/size][/b]

A large Sembian family of merchants, mercenaries, and more.

Who are they?

You tell me.

The Malatestas will be a faction complete with a mystery laden, conflict heavy long term plot that the players will shape with their actions and decisions.

I’m asking players to come up with the family members, and play them as their PC.

To give the family -some- structure, I have come up with a handful of NPCs of my own that will initially start as the most powerful members of the family. It will be up to the players to decide which of these NPCs runs the show to start with, by supporting their favourite, and working with them. Eventually, perhaps the most successful and prominent PC can take the reigns themselves.

If this interests you, you must ask me to send you the necessary info you’ll need to make a relevant character, and read it. Don’t just hit me up with a random app. Sending me an app for the all powerful, badass head of the family straight up is not what I'm looking for.

Also, bear in mind, that I can’t have too many chefs. I need some cooks too. Only the best apps will make it to being fully fledged relations. Those that are good, but not exceptional, will be given positions as faction members (as you would expect of a normal faction), and will answer to the family… But may work up to greater things later on. Of course, I will gladly accept applications directly for members of staff, or applications that detail an app for a relation, and a backup concept for a member of staff if the app for the relation proves unsuitable.

Note: No Elves, Paladins or Druids, unless your idea is especially, especially, mind bogglingly awesome.

Thanks for your interest, everyone.

I'm going to need final drafts of all apps before the end of the week. I'm moving on the weekend so I might not be around, but I plan to get started on this next week, new house's ISP permitting. Fingers crossed and all that jazz.

Despite claims that I would accept no more applications after the deadline, I will, in the interests of factional longevity, discuss the possibility of joining this faction, as a fully fledged member of the family, with anyone that is still interested.

Okay. In light of recent IG developments, the Malatesta Faction can now be considered a fully fledged faction with faction equipment! You can now freely send in applications for this faction through the normal application route (that is, posting on the forums). We will only be accepting applications for household staff, although from there, you could go anywhere (even becoming relatives/leader(s) of the family if you play your cards right).
