Stuck in the prologue vision

It is possible to get stuck in the very last area of Visions of Mist - Path through the forest.

I accidentally cancelled the dialog you get from clicking "Pass on from the mist"-object, and now there is no way out anymore. The object just keeps telling "The mist swirls, but you cannot enter", which sounds intentional, but I fail to see any reason for it working like this..
