Please stop making Ring 98 and Ring 94 automatically set spawn point.

I was considering making this a suggestion, but I think the level of issue it causes for the setting of spawn points (especially for those who have long since visited each of these locations and are making their way back from deeper in, are simply moving through, or otherwise have no place in the Ponds) is more akin to it being a bug.

Exiting Ring 97 to get to Ring 98 or otherwise moving to the Ring Door of Ring 97 by Demond's headless statue forces the PC's spawn point to be set to that spot in the Pauper Ponds without consent or good cause!

The same goes for exiting Ring 93 to get to Ring 94 or otherwise reaching the Ring Door to Ring 93 automatically sets the PC's spawn point to the camp there.

I suggest fixing this issue by adding a 'set spawn point' option at the respective locations in Ring 94 and Ring 98 so that PCs can choose to set their spawn rather than be forced, and or alternatively, whatever fix was in place before that sets the spawn point only for those who are visiting for the first time could be reapplied.

Not long ago, I asked for ringrunners to get their spawn point automatically reset to Ring 99 when they return from their long adventures. Not a week could go by without one of us getting stuck because we were too were or became too busy to assign ourselves to a faction base, resulting in mortal danger the morning after. We logged back in, alone, in the middle of a hostile wilderness. Numerous characters have almost died (and a few actually did die) to PvP enabled by this situation.

Besides, the purpose of automatic ring spawn points is to make it a meaningful challenge to travel across the Rings. Remember that you are crossing a significant distance over difficult terrain. You know very well that it would spare you a lot of gold, time, and risk if every server reset whisked you back to the far away Wizard Warrens, despite your choice to spend a lovely afternoon having tea in the Peerage or Ticker Square.

That said, I do think it is reasonable for the inward spawn points to start at the Eryngium Courts instead of the Silverspike, and that would probably solve your problem. The spawn point correction only takes effect when returning to Ring 98 with an automatic ringrunner spawn. You are probably getting tagged with one by the Silverspike transition.

It seems apt that returning to 98 would set your spawn point to the Open Door, Spinning Groat, or Ponds basement depending on where your residency is set.

This would ideally avoid starting out in the wilderness with no allies or NPC oversight.

Clearing the small area of the camp of monster spawns entirely might be helpful for avoiding people logging into hostiles, but I don't quite understand how this one is too detrimental or frustrating.

Howlando

This is how it should be working now, let me know if there any remaining issues:

- your spawn point starts being automatically set at Ring 92 (different from before)
- if your spawn has been automatically set in the deep rings, when you return to Ring 98 your spawn point is automatically re-adjusted to either the Peerage/Ticker (for those PCs that are residents of those hubs) or Pauper Ponds (for Ponds or unaffiliated PCs)
