Renting a room from Kingsman

I tried to rent a room from Kingsman to check it out. Everything went fine until I went to go look at my room, to which the Kingsman Guard took my key away, saying that I didn't own the room so couldn't go in. I would like my 350 gold back or my 10 days, sirs. Screeny.

I have an identical screenshot, but with Daniel Hull instead of Montgomery Proverson.  Oddly, it is still a Proverson Mercantile Guild key that is removed from my inventory.

Edit: I also would like my 10 days, if it's okay.
