We experienced uncomfortable bug, where summons struck barbarian in rage to winded state, and just in unsummoning, when summon last hit him, he just lost the rage and was killed.

He was in winded state from sparring, and in unsummoning the beast had one hit on him while he lost the rage, and this caused him to die for some reason.

Was he himself on FD? Maybe if so he killed himself when loosing the HP after the rage ended?

Paha

No, he was on sparring or subdual, can't remember which he said when I checked that from him. I thought the same first.

Just before they finish unsummoning, summons leave the summoners' party and also leave its subdual mode, becoming full damage.

All you can do is move the summon away before unsummoning it.

Paha

Ooh. Alright. Multiple summons are just tad bit hard to control, without spamming the voice command.

I would love a tool like control companion, that allows control of multiple summons.

Hot tip from a summoner. If you need to turn off multiple summons quickly, simply unhostile the downed player for a second. They stop hitting immediately, allowing unsummoning or retargeting.

As the player whom it had happened to, I have to remark that this bug has been around for years, back to when a Doom Knight summon killed me in the fresh years of Sanctuary's 151st. Back then it was explained by taking too much damage in too short a time to lead to a full death. As I was mauled by 4 level IV summons at the moment Barbarian Rage wore off, I think it's a safe conclusion to say that it's just that. Too much damage.

And yes, I was on Sparring.
