Trogs Quest bug

Last night, myself and two others went to take the trogs quest.  One of our party lingered outside the Wastrel, and the two of us initiated the dialogue to take the quest. It allowed us to proceed, so we assumed our companion had stealthed down as was his way.  Upon taking the quest, we were shocked to find that the two of us had been added to a party of three already 3/4 of the way thru the quest.  After some quick tells, we realized it was some sort of bug, and here is the report.  

TLDR-Trogs is adding folks while others are on the quest. Was around (8pm? PST Monday, 21st of feb) 2 got added to a party of three that were well into the quest already.
