Censers and Withered Items

A censer can only test an item once, period. The other day I used them on some Witherroots to see what would happen, and they glowed a dark green and had some text pop up, today when I was preparing to use some witherroots to convince people IC that the Censers were legit, the Censer did absolutely nothing. No text about me wafting mist toward the item, no glow from the roots, nothing. Thank god I tested it with some new witherroots before the demonstration. After using the Censer on other items in my inventory, all of them are acting this very same way.
