Salutory Tonic VS Bath Day Plague

Using a salutory tonic with success stated that I was cured of the Bath Day plague, but the flies and the charisma decrease effects are still there(also after a relog).

Pretty sure I did try that aswell, yes. It still persisted. I've had it removed since by other means..

Its because it is a special disease I believe. Salutary tonics don't get rid of disease effects either anyway, just the disease. Like how an Antitoxin will remove the poison prior to the secondary damage but you'll still suffer the drain from the primary damage.

You have to wait until it physically says "[Plague]" not just that you failed the disease.

Once it says plague, heal yourself, and it'll say you're cured.

I got flies buzzing around my character as well. Just to make mention of the fact.

It did say I was cured. It had stated the whole [Plague] thing. And said I was cured once I used the Tonic. I guess it has something to do with the way Tonic works against normal diseases as Rose says, probably just keeps it from spreading then after use.
