Barbarian Multi class with Ranger - Can't Rest Without a Bedroll

As the title suggests I have 1 level in barbarian and 4 in Ranger, I can rest without a camp fire but not without a bedroll and barbarian on the wiki suggests you don't need a bedroll. So presumable a barbarian/ranger requires neither but when trying to rest without a bedroll an error message comes up saying require a bedroll to rest.
