The silver palm feat is supposed to provide a special bonus when interacting with some merchant NPCs. Hopefully it isn't too much of a spoiler to say the intended benefit is some additional items added to the merchant's standard selection. I've had the feat for going on three months now on my current character and although I don't interact with the merchants that this special benefit applies to often (there's not many) I've noticed that the benefit script activates but the resulting bonus items are almost always listed as blank, and no items are introduced into the inventory. I would say 1 in 30 interactions where the rolls required to activate the benefit script are successful, one to three bonus items are given based on I assume the success of some skill checks but all items listed are blank.

I forgot to take a screenshot and it will be a good length of time before my character can interact with the specific merchants I've found to take one. Here's a paraphrased idea of the wording of the combat log typigcally, and one from the few times items are listed:

Quote from: Three Results All Empty. No Items Added(Silver Palm)You have managed to persuade the merchant to reveal additional items in their catalogue for sale.
Additional Item:
Additional Item:
Additional Item:

Quote from: Two Results One Filled. Oil Flask Added.(Silver Palm)You have managed to persuade the merchant to reveal additional items in their catalogue for sale.
Additional Item:
Oil Flask
Additional Item:

This may be a result of poor skills in the appropriate areas on my character, but the varying number of additional item messages that appear from check to check make me believe the checks are succeeding to different degrees but its drawing blank results from the table of items that the script is meant to be drawing from. I would also include a suggestion that I'd like to tag along in case any DM wants the extra low priority work, but the bonus items I've seen so far have all been additional standard price copies of the typical wares the merchant already sells limitless. It would be nice incentive to take the feat if the table the additional item were pulled from included some of the goods usually exclusive to planar merchants and merchants found in explorables, or discounted copies of the merchant's typical wares.
