Elixir of Unpredictability

Used one of these a couple of minutes ago by dragging it onto a summon's portrait. The effect (No save Fear) hit me, not it.
I'm wondering if this is the same issue with Unique Powers as was reported for Elixirs of Negative Energy hitting the PC not the undead minion.
