One invis per death

When you die and it is not from your corpse you should be able to come alive with something like an invis potion.

When you are alone and you die in a solo area or die in a dangerous place and nobody is on, you feel like your char is permad because you can't come back and get your stuff.

If you had an invis this would not make people want to quit their characters when they die somewhere away from their corpse.

I think respawning should give a temporary 6 second greater sanctuary to be sure, but an invisibility is a bit much.

I meant it for more of if you respawn AWAY from your corpse. Not a right to your corpse effect.

I would support the idea of spawning in the mausoleum giving an invisibility potion.

This is one of the big reasons I was saying about a Docks or neutral area bank. One reason for always having a small bank account is being able to buy a set of leathers and couple of invis pots to be able to leg it back to my PC's body. I like this idea.

I can already see people repeatedly dying on purpose at level 2 only to be able to sell off the invis potions.

Honestly, that would be the biggest waste of time and effort and you would not be looked favourably upon if you did so I imagine.  There's far easier ways to get lots of invis if you want to sell them.

Or there could be an additional option to pay an extra 1000 xp or so to respawn at the mausoleum with invisibility.

The potion could easily be cursed (non-transferable), stripped on reset, and limited to one in the inventory at a time.

That said, wouldn't this be less useful than receiving a temporary  Greater Sanctuary at your corpse? Perhaps, provided that your corpse is in an area where there are no other PCs.

With an invis pot, you have to make it to your corpse and back. With Greater Sanctuary, you just pick up your stuff and run back to town.
