''Your character has already an active effect. Cannot re-apply perk or background bonuses.''

This is the message I receive when I try to select a perk at level 5, even though I never picked one. However this isn't the first time I reach level 5 : I reached level 6 before, but died two times and fell back to level 4. Could reaching level 5, then losing a few levels be enough to make a bug happen? (This is with Dehewint Wildwater)

Also, I noticed during my island exploration times that a few transition areas (blue squares) doesn't seem to work, like one at the north-western part of Foothil path. Is it a bug too?

AFAIK, only class-specific perks are available.

The current perks we have are only for rogues, sorcerers and fighters. The command you tried is intended to help them re-applying the bonuses when these have been removed through dying or heavy subdual.

If you can make a list with all the broken transitions you see, their names and location (where in the area and what area); it'll help a lot fixing them. Thanks.

Not saying this is the case, but it is also a high possibility of such area's being a quest area.  Some transitions will only allow you through if you have the correct quest already accepted.

Concerning the perks...
I know that these ones are class-specific : http://www.escapefromundeath.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53869

But what about these ones? : http://www.escapefromundeath.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38106

Are they for fighters/rogues/sorcerers too?

EDIT : Oh no wait! (On the general perks topic)
'' Here's the current available perks that can be selected by your character after level 5. ''
Okay, nevermind!

And for the transition areas...well I'll write them down on a piece of paper whenever I find one then. If it's a quest area...well I guess it's better to make a mistake than missing a bug somewhere.

Those perks have been removed. As Talir said there's only perks for sorcerors, rogues and fighters anymore.
