Scripted Quest Idea

Just got a brief cool quest idea I thought I'd throw out real quick.

An adventure fighting a large variety of wildly different mist appritions with hints and clues about the mist, perhaps with some objects along the quest that can unlock other hints with significantly absurd Lore requirements. Have some of the spawns be linked to a list of previous prominent PC's who died in ways that might make them appear through mist apparitions...(you know the kind I mean)....who will occasionally say lines that may be clues to things related to them....or complete lies, ect.

I think the idea was used before in the Underdark with a crypt quest that occasionally had old dead PC names as zombies? Just thought it would be neat to see something like this again.
