Bloodtail cove trap causes repeat trigger until death or click!

The new trap closest to the trap door can causes players to get teleported in and out of the pit repeatedly if a player is EXITING the trap door while another is beside it. This causes the "fall down" damage roll to happen over and over until they quickly click or die. Perhaps moving this further away from the trap door is best!

Hey, corroborating this experience.

I didn't capture a picture of it in action, but if I see it again I will.


The conditions looked a bit like this image below:





upon leaving with the group (don't know if 'exit clogging' is necessary), it picked me out from the rest to keep throwing my guy back into the fall trap over and over.


Black lines = impassable
Brown = spiked barricade
Blue = transition stuff.


I guess to recreate the bug, the trap just has to end up near the trapdoor again. When people try and leave the Bloodtail Cove through the transition, or just go through it for whatever reason leading back to the trapdoor, it could throw the character into a falling loop.

Like the title says, it will stop looping if you're QUICK to click around and try to move your guy. You don't have a lot of time, because the loop is fast and you'll loose around 5-10 HP per fall.


Other folk in my group seemed to be aware of the trap and were luckier than I was when dealing with it. Good luck out there!

This happened to me yesterday night, 3x damage. Still alive, thank goodness. Can't say the same for one of my partners in crime, who had a tough time in that pit.
