More remove paralysis loot.

Having just died again to a Hold Monster in an underwater quest, I'm finding the number of monsters using the Dispel/Hold combo (and in fact paralysis in general) to be infuriating and neither challenging nor fun. In this case, we had 2 of the party  spamming back to back heals on me and I still died to what would normally be an easily survivable number of monsters. I'm not annoyed the spell exists and is used, I'm annoyed that if you're hit by it you're basically dead on a lot of quests because nobody has a counter move. And since the monsters invariably open up with a dispel first it makes high CL casters even more vital.  And probably also explains why high saves builds are so popular apparently.

If one monster dispels your PfX, you are now running on weak CL consumables and even more vulnerable to dispels again. I lost count by how many time kobolds had locked down our party during one quest.

There's no challenge except to pound a PfX in a panic (if you notice it dropping and have time to react) or to prep a metagamey Remove Paralysis. Please can we get some common Remove Paralysis loot added to the tables so that it's possible for other PCs to free characters that get hit by Paralysis? Being wailed on for 7-8 rounds is not a fun situation to be in, as you're just watching your PC slowly die while nobody can do anything useful. Compared to damage, where reactive healing is a countermeasure. About the only option you have is to hope someone else has both target-other Invis and a seeing potion, and healing.

As it is, yes there are potions, yes they have an AoE but this, like Blindness/deafness is something we can basically only get off PC brewers. Also because the AoE isn't that big, it means you have to fire it point blank. Remove Fear loot is not uncommon these days, but Paralysis is more widely used than Fear I reckon, and more dangerous.  Remove Poison or Disease loot is all over the place, and those are higher level spells than Remove Paralysis too

Update, it turns out you can't brew Remove Paralysis either so yeah. More loot would be very nice for giving us less of a save-or-die set of mechanics with a lot of casters.
