Scion/Gloves damage bonus overwriting

The slashing bonus granted by the scion perk is overwritten by flame weapon, darkfire, greater magic weapon ect.

Casting Greater Magic Weapon gives gloves  +2attack bonus +2bludgeoning, but removes the +1d6 slashing bonus. The slashing bonus can be reapllied by resetting the perk. But by casting flame weapon ontop of it the bludgoning bonus is removed completely.

Also if Flame Weapon is cast on the gloves before GMW, GMW removes the flame weapon spell entirely.

We've been reporting this for what appears to be six years now. Gloves are broken in regards to damage bonuses / flame weapon for any class using them. Here is a 2014 thread from it and there are quite a few others.

In that case why give scion such a useless buff? Why not replace it with something more feasible for a sorcerer to begin with? If all buffs were working properly, a unarmed sorcerer wouldn't be so impossible, that would even be pretty awesome, but with how buggy it appears to be (and indeed 6 years of its not happening) perhaps that perk could use some reworking
