With things changing in the 99th Ring and so much focus on the Houses and Peerage Politics thought it'd be fun to focus a bit on the rest of the very large ring that has felt kind of vacant of late with Ticker's collapse and etc. Territory has been claimed in the Scraggleways, Gang-feuding has started, and employees and members have been taken on.

The focus is less on trying to make "Another hub" but more an open air faction HQ of the Arbiter Plaza being used as a war camp/bazaar/Church and otherwise.

[hide=Faction History, optional] Awakening long ago and living in the Steadings the Orcblood known as Gor'Tam served as a peasant farmer as most subhumans were inclined and required. Untrained and lacking the confidence to work in Ticker Square his time in the Peerage was brutal, abused, and suffering as one would expect of not even a second class citizen but even lesser as an Orcblood. Eking out a miserable existence everything changed when the Count Senespur rose to power. The combination of heavy focus on political upheaval and a very visceral and real upending of the status quo it gave chance for the Orcblood to cast aside his farming tools, take up a weapon from the Charity chest and venture into his first Seam.

Returning with a broken relic he found himself with powers beyond his imagining and a slowly changing attitude to accompany such.  Some Retainers still remained fervent he was a filthy orcblood but others either opportunistic or desperate or otherwise gave him means to claw his way from poverty with odd job and accompanying hunt as a very large body to block trouble.

With his faith outlawed in the Peerage under the antiquated rulings of the Vestry he has cut a bloody swath in the Scraggleways in an attempt to find a place he may call home, raise a company, and embark on a very large adventure across the Seams.[/hide]

The primary intention is to try and create a next step of Planar Prospecting. Less brokering and trading and more a twist on Torc Khan/Mongol raids of the Seams, be that just flavorful spins on scripted quests or eventually attempting to raid peaceful planar settlements and returning to Arbiter Plaza with pillage, plunder, and potentially Monstrous Planar "Laborers".

The proceeds from such Isengard style industrialization of Arbiter Plaza is to finance and fund a Ring Running Crew.

Eventually those of the inner circle will have the choice to embark with my PC in the trek deeper (Timezones pending) or staying focused on the outer rings while others run the Prospecting Company as pillaged resources and more from the inner rings being returned to the Outer Camp PCs.

QuoteClass: Non-Paladin
Race: Any (Monstrous allowed though may be short lived)

A few from the pile-o-concept Ideas:

- Planar Prospector Survivor trying to keep some of the spirit and soul of the Prospectors alive in this new and very violent overture.

- A Bard seeking to chronicle Flash Gordon style adventures through the cosmos with a raggedy band at the Warcamp.

- A suave Merchant Lord rogue hoping to capitalize on strip mining operations of the Seams skimming a healthy sum off the top

- A Paladin who has not yet taken his oath but uses the company to explore the seams and learn more of what awaits beyond, leading to dramatic stand off upon taking the Planar Oath.

- A Scraggleways Gangster who's far more interested in Security and Upkeep of the Camp and keeping the reputation strong among the rival NPC Gangs of various hilarious names.

- A Fallen Planar Paladin who has become addicted to Blue Seam Worm Juice and craves the quenchiest offering juggling and other entertainment at the warcamp for passage.

- A would be Champion of Kahzar seeking to raise things to the highest level possible taking the IG forming dogma as purest doctrine in pursuit of war and fortune

- A Goblin Brigand who wishes to terrorize and take over the Ponds but first must travel the seams seeking the best tricks and foulest magics

- An Infect of Tchun searching the cosmos for any possible way to remedy his horrific affliction be it through War and Kahzar or other opportunities to present.

- A run of the mill cut-throat who just wants to get paid well for dangerous seam missions not buying too much into the other business of things

- A Thief seeking to escsape a bad reputation or otherwise danger accompanying the band into the various realms hoping to steal one prized treasure from every Seam Civilization

- A spurned surviving Mortal Nephezar who wishes to see the Golden City suffer and burn

- A violent Weaponmaster who wants to battle as Gladiator of the Kahzariim and fight across the Seams in glorious duels, the Peerage arena for the Warband, and potentially even deeper in the Rings in various settlements.

- A Wizard who's just going real, real Planar Madness and thinks he's with a band of Leal Knights.

- A Clockworking Tinkerer who wants to make steampunk vibed Isengard contraptions with funding from the Camp.

All just some off the top of the head idea but new or existing PCs welcome.

Some interesting and unplanned IC developments have lead to some changes in things.

In terms of OOC:

A PC from the Euro timezone has joined up which is fully welcomed, but it does leave him kind of at odds with the majority of the group. If anyone from the EU/Non-US Timezone adjacent to some GMT stuff is interested in hijinks my playtimes are flexible but some of the crews are not. So having some more who can help out our euro pal would give a bit of boost to his playing experience.

In terms of IC:

A Peerage Retainer has converted to Kahzar and caused some scandal. This could lead to other PCs who are potentially interested in the concepts of Kahzar have some wiggle room. Brutal Orzans, Warrior Glitt, Seam-Loving Velstrans, etc. all I could see as  possible thanks to Blue41 taking the leap. It won't be easy by any means and he's already facing some heavy backlash but there's now at least a precedent of sorts.

As well due to some IC activities a member of the Druid Faction has been battled and natural turf ceded. Blood vibes Sorcerers and Witches with the Nephezar gone, Non-Shapeshifting Druids, and other potential concepts could now feasibly fit with the overall vibe of the Faction. The "Non Druid" part of things has been removed from the original post. Though Shapeshifting Druids will likely not be allowed there's a lot of BLOOD and SHAMANISM and etc that all go into psuedo-tribal life.
