Is not dead. As far as I know, he's still in Old Port seeking passage on one of the ships there, to get back home. Whether he makes it or not, or if some unfortunate events happen with him, I consider my part in telling his story over. I expected the end to be quite different, but it just goes to show how much more it can be while roleplaying among you amazing guys! The end he was given was far more than I expected and much better than me either losing interest or him dieing. So my first thanks goes to Sandstorm for this.

With Orrin, I took a different approach than I've done earlier. I was able to see some of the more shadier aspects of EFU:A, partake briefly on some of it myself and I got to meet many interesting characters throughout my almost four months playing him. To prevent this from sounding too much like a speech, I'll just skip ahead to the few screenshots I've decided to share.

Orrin was in huge favor of using a dagger in close combat. This is why:

During the time of Symme, all sorts of shady people visited the bar in the safety only the Hanged Goblin can provide.

A great event during these four months was the final climax to the Red Eleint war. We were all digging in and embracing ourselves for the coming impact, when one man decided to bring us back into the fight again.

We also found him to be quite the diplomat.

Badassery aside, sometimes you must rely on other people.

We were rewarded greatly for our service during these strainful hours. Alas, the extent of this gift lessened with time.

Orrin held a stirring speech for the Count and Lord Alemander.

The crowd went wild.

More likely because of the great show.

But well, everything comes to an end. It's been fun seeing how Orrin developed alongside the events around him, meeting such wonderful PCs. He was a loner at heart, though, and so when everyone he cared much about were gone, he set the sight for a return home.

A huge thanks to all you wonderful players and DMs alike!

I liked him, he was a real good character.

DeputyCool

Orrin Kendt was a fantastic PC, as per Talir's usual high standards. I am really looking forward to seeing what is next from you.

Semli

Garlin would have liked some heads up he was making a run for it, but all the same, Orrin proved a very interesting character and ally that found a unique way to shine.  Well played.

Caddies

Awesome screens, a sweet PC.

Sandstorm

He was an excellent character. I am sorry he had to go!

Pup

I liked how I could never quite put my finger on his motivations.  Good stuff.
"So what else is on your mind besides 100 proof women, 90 proof whisky, and 14 karat gold?"
"Amigo, you just wrote my epitaph."

"Maybe there's just one revolution.  The good guys against the bad guys.  The question is, who are the good guys?"

Orrin was cool. A classic rogue, and a char who ran a lot of stuff that included others and promoted taking a look around the server with his scouting trips. Good luck on your next guy,
