10-10-24 to 04-13-25    6 months 3 days  53 deaths.

Ulfgrim Son of Grimgar. Heretic. The Last Duunthal. Founder of the Rathgan.

Ulfgrim was raised in the desert, and taught to hunt Lions useing two axes.  His Father brought him up in a bastardized version of the Warrior, embraceing the tactician and the rage of battle. A dual bladed Axe. His tattoos on each forearm, one for Murderer,Coordum and one for the Warrior, Agaslakku, represented this.  He came to the Well, after an orcan raiding party slaughterd his children along with the rest of the famial tribe after the fall of Arslan. He was taken in by the Duunthal. The rest, as they say, is History.

I owe so much to Vlaid and the Original crew of the Duunthal. The time spent playing with them shaped and molded Ulfgrim in every way. From his combat style to his world view. He started out a Dual weilding axe man..a proper Trollslayer. He ended up a IE tank, holding the line til his last breath, so others may live. Following in Durgins footsteps literally into death. I hope Vlaid comes back to us, he is sorely missed. He had one peace of DM Loot, from XMAS. All his other gear was either Durgins or found stuff. It is still in circulation, so ..no pics! There should be Pics below of stuff, if I can make it work!  Got alot of random screenshots as well, that will be in no particular order. If anyone has any to add, feel free. I usually forget to take them.
That was by far my longest PC ever..I think.  This chapter is definetly a long haul playing experience for maximum satisfaction. At least from my point of view. Even after six months, I felt like he never really lived up to his potential, mechanicaly, or in RP. Mediocore. Average. But, I loved inhabiting that character, so kept on going.  The DMS created an amazing story, and I wanted to play a part, however small. It's ridiculous, but I am tearing up a little, just thinking about the past six months. Thats how you know it was great Art. It evokes an emotion.  Thanks to all my dwarves! I think, we had around 20 pcs flow through the Halls. Espeacially Vlaid and Crimson Medicine, for creating such a rich player made culture to be part of.  Thanks to Bearic and YMD for all the help and little moments I had especially near the end. It was all epic.  If I don.t screw it up, screenshots should follow-

This one hurts.

It hurts so bad.

You play such wonderful characters. When I first came to EFU, the very first death was Khiva, and I cried for the first time playing this game. I cry now, even as I write this. This is how important PC's become to me. How important you are.

I've walked the road with you over the course of three PC's. Grenth, we formed the Duunthall and gladly brought you with us. Noxieos, my dwarf obsessed human seeking to ease your pain of losing those you cared for. And of course, Korinthus. The second to join the Rathgan, what with you being the first.

I cannot thank fate enough for allowing us as players, and as PC's to cross pathes and roleplay. You're an incredible person, and your writing talent is clear to see.

I don't really even know how to properly being to express the amount of fun I've had playing at your side. The challenges we've faced, the failures we had, the victories, the loss, the wonders, the excitement, the heartbreak. It was all there.

So here is to you, the Whirlwind, the Son of Grimgar, The lost son of Kulkund, The shield to my priests, the brave, to the Rathgan. You are the last, the last of the Duunthall. But you will always be first, the first of the Rathgan.

Long will he be remembered, etched into our stones.

I took a lot of pictures over the course of our time together, every moment special. I will post some of them.

And then, all good things come to an end. Tales of joy give way to that of sorrow so often.

And I waited... (Korin)

I waited... (Korin)

I waited for you to stand up, but this time.

You didn't.

And now I remember.

Even with all the deaths, you never gave up. Half a year...what a time, I wouldn't trade any of the moments I got with him for anything. He was a good one. Cheers to you.

Thank you. Looking forward to who you make next, when you're ready. EFU needs your talent.

-UnholyWon-

ULF! Absolutely amazing man! Running around trying to keep you alive was a blast! Each time I would see you surrounded, "Oh shit!" *Water, Water, Water, Water...!* "Ok, he's still alive!"

Hands down a favorite dwarf PC!
Discord - Howlando: UnholyWon, an Elder Thing that has crawled from the depths of Chapter 1, many a nature-pc and adventurer played in the past... a rare sighting IG in recent chapters, but perhaps less rare than we realize. Beware his professional insight into the minds of the mentally disturbed.

Lannister

Ulf was such a dynamic dwarf. His growth from hand in the Duunthall to this wall of a leader at the head of the Rathgan.

I'll miss him and the way he used try to get Aurelio involved in so much.

Doofus

Huhwuhhuh?

Poolson

My son... my short, kilt-wearing, axe-wielding son...

Props to keeping the Duunthal going after Durgin passed, and adding your own thing onto it, instead of just holding up a legacy. He was dwarf-supreme.
