Hello, Balladeer Caddick!

As requested, you wanted a list of different kinds of materials that would make teaching the Refugees blacksmithing easier, so these are the non-magical tools that the typical layman would require:

Hammers of different shapes;
- Balled
- Cross-peen
- Lump (flat) hammer

A heavy duty Punch, which is similar to a hammer, but shaped more like a pick. A supplyer who knows what we're looking for should understand what a punch is. We'll need round-sections and square-section punches.

A blacksmith similarly needs chisels, for both cutting metal that's hot and cold. Cold metal chisels are shorter ones, and thicker, but for the heated metal ones we'll need longer more saw-like ones with thin blades.

We will need Tongs as well, which should be easy enough. Simple tongs for the grasping and moving of metal.

We will need a handful of buckets for quenching water.

We will need anvils, or something similarly set for the hammering and shaping of the metals.

We will need hand mandrels, which are cone-shaped tools with a handle for the purpose of rounding metal and stretching them to a desired diameter.

These are all the tool-requirements themselves, although for the safety of people practicing, we'll need aprons, face-masks, and thick, insulated gloves for the men and women practicing to minimize the risk of injuries working with heated metals.

And ideally we will need multiples of all of these, perhaps five sets of clothes, and tools themselves, and that isn't including the required kiln or forge for the fire itself.

Thank you for any assistance you're able to provide, but if naught else, I do still have my own tools Ive been providing for practice to the refugees outside of the Gate of Roses whilst teaching them the art of blacksmithing, and building!
