Dear Sir,

You have my condolences for word has spread quickly of the news that many who followed you to that dread Isle of Hufaifh have perished, and more, the purpose of this expedition unmet and yet to be made good upon.

I am Reverend Martin Rosenfeldt of the Twins, and I commit mine self to Kalim's heavy burden. There is to be a gathering of the Faith tomorrow, and I would see it stand a Wake to the fallen who gave their lives for this devout mission.

A noble effort, that has ended in tragedy. Still, these names shall not be forgot, and I would know them.

I await word.

How long, Catiline, will you continue to abuse our patience?

Aurelio d'Lyon,

It has now been a week since my formal request, and I do hope your favor asked was not in truth a condition of such a simple albeit honorable task of delivering the names of Kalim's usher.

I shall grant you the benefit of my doubt, in regards to your busy schedule and manyfold duties to the Cinquefoil Rose, but I would greatly appreciate this exhaustion of Ephian sacrificial sent to the Maqbara so that they may be given their last rites as ordained by the Martyrs.

Memento Mori

Signed,

Reverend Martin Rosenfeldt

Preparator Martin Rosenfeldt,

There was no condition, I am simply very busy. I apologise for any delay as I have double checked the list with a reference and to the best of my ability herein are the names of the honoured dead:

QuoteSister Amelie, Sister of the Sisterhood of the Sibylline Vine

Cimeya Vellamure, Student of the Balladeers

Esme Swansea, Recluta of the Banda Rossa

Knud Skargrimsson, Soldier of the Janissaries of the Fourth Legion

Amani al-Ibrahim, Scribe of the Sublime Garden

Eizo Rumei, Scribe of the Sublime Garden

Ramez Hour Sobhy

Zelpha Nesendya al-Faltarnis

Violet Osvuleni

Gurni Bloodbeard

Phaedra Shobalar
Though I am unsure if any formal proceeding has been called by the Preparators stationed at the Maqbara, it may wise to reach out to Preparator Tariq, who I believe the church of the Martyrs has invested considerable powers with here in the Well.

Though I worry he has not been seen for some time.

Should you need any other assistance in this or another task, please write to me or seek me out.

Yours faithfully,
Aurelio d'Lyon

Hierophant

To the Balladeer Aurelio d'Lyon,

You have my dearest thanks for your steadfast reply. The Preparator Tariq is of a respectable family and I do look forward to meeting the man, alas we have met naught. Still, preparations shall commence earnestly.

The Cinquefoil Rose will be kept appraised of when this Wake for the Dead shall be held.

Signed,

Reverend Martin Rosenfeldt
