I've not tested this extensively but it's happened twice in a row during the past two days.

When I summon more than one Trickster demon they only attack once and then just go flatfooted. They do not defend themselves and neither the voice command or player tool makes them attack beyond a single attack/hit with either bow or sword.

I have observed similar behavior in one Spider Summon ( i do not recall which one, I believe the Level 4 Summon, the Ghost Spider). It will attack once and then idle out, and not react to incoming attacks, attacks of opportunity etc.

Forcing the creature to attack, using the companion tool, will work for 1 round before it idles again.  

This only occurs once in a while, as I had situations where I would have some of these spiders fighting, while the rest would idle.
