Does this mean Aaron is making a come back? because I truly missed the rather depressing paladin that had to keep having Merry give him potions, just so he could survive a few more days on the Isle of Ymph.

Oh and uhh well played with Emily too, I enjoyed reading the poems she'd sing out trying to encourage a bard to start singing - am a horror with writing so I'll likely never play a bard.

Was a great character and I'm sad to see her go, even if she did happen to kill Jora.

Look forward to whatever you roll next.

Was always fun wandering around with Karisa.

I think I had the most fun wandering with her - particularly when you can decide to check the mist paths then next thing you know, you've just kept walking and halfway across the isle.

Was a grand bloody character that will be missed.  Loved each and every interaction as both Jora and Merry.

I look forward the whatever comes next, she was brilliant.

An interesting note NPC's can have spells that can only be used on self or on other.  Did you I wonder try using it on the Familar itself or on your mage?

A grand little character, I remember beating him way back when he first started - using every supply he had to try and beat Jora.... then giving him more potions then he used back so that he didn't go and get himself killed.

Look forward to your next one mate as always.

A great character from the little I had seen, I wish I could have seen a great deal more.

Jora tried to help the poor bugger out, but in the end it seems it wasn't to be.

Quote from: Big Orc Man;302371It's good to recognize that, often, the player whose character is being set upon was trying to do something entertaining for other players, like yourself, so if they have an ingenious but failed banditry attempt that is entertaining, you may want to reward them by kicking the crap out of them and leaving them (mostly) intact.

Nothing makes me wince more than when players take the first available opportunity to loot another player's pack for "supplies".  Players who don't do that often find themselves, in the long run, in possession of many more "supplies".

Mob mentality is cool, I think, if you're playing a character prone to such.

PvP in general makes me wince, because of how often, it's been horridly handled in the past around me.

That being said there are times that stand out really well, such as I think Valo's recent bandit, ambushing Jora and a squishy mageling that shall remain known as squishy mageling so as to not hurt his feels for being taken down, while working herbalism.  They squished the mageling that was hanging around me at the time, then proceeded to be made squishy themselves.  After such Valo's kinda ran off to set traps while I subdued his parter and proceeded to trade his life for the 110 coins stolen from my own partner.

Out of their oh so filled backpack of supplies I took two bluring to cover what was used and sent them on their away with a headache, a pack to reorganise and the threat of next time they attack one of the wildling's they'd be feed to an assassin vine.... not five hours later they were subdued and turned over the Muster by others, which is great as it gives the Muster something to role-play, but they were executed shortly later down in the cells, their things I think the Muster online at the time ended up taking.

As they weren't the ones accused of Murder it didn't make a great deal of sense to me, killing them off, but it wasn't my judgement call to make.

I also had fun with Kirby subduing Jora on his return to town from an adventure, after using all his blessings (I knew it was coming, and am glad it happened, because he handled it really well), only to have them chase off after one of the other group and be allowed to slowly drag his arse back to the mists.

Quote from: "Jagged"The martial proficiency of your character is not LETO'd into the PC sheet, so when offline he's not listed as having the proficiency, that is why the quickslot gets emptied for the weapon.

This might be causing the weapon to shift around in your inventory, moving things? I don't know.

As Jagged say, that is the reason the weapon is removed from quick slot.

I'm unsure if Calimport Smoke has an item that grants a proficient feat or not, such as armour, shield or weapon, however the below may help her as well.

As for inventory being moved about, it is likely due to an equipped item that is unequipped while you're offline is placed within the first squares of your inventory even if they were occupied and as such everything in your inventory is moved around to attempt to fit it all within (never logout with a full inventory).  A possible way of avoiding such is always leaving the first 2 or 3 rows of inventory empty from bottom to top.

These are due to implementation and engine limitation.

I think the question that should have really been asked ages back is does your Micro ATX motherboard have a PCIE slot or an AGP slot.

Quote from: "Adhesive"More RAM is best RAM.

I kinda disagree with this, it depends more on the speed and latency of memory for me along side how the various sticks work together.  There is really hardly any point in adding an extra stick of memory if it halves the speed of whatever is already in the system, due to incompatibility issues or simply it running slower then the rest.

Quote from: Evaenir;299243Also, I noticed during my island exploration times that a few transition areas (blue squares) doesn't seem to work, like one at the north-western part of Foothil path. Is it a bug too?

Not saying this is the case, but it is also a high possibility of such area's being a quest area.  Some transitions will only allow you through if you have the correct quest already accepted.

Honestly, if a group was running a difficult quest, or one I've never been on before, I'll generally tag along if I've got the time and nothing against it IC, I don't honestly care all that much about dying, see point below.

Seeing as I regularly do curse removal, losing xp from fuguing doesn't really scare me, it's the reorganising inventory after death.  There is nothing to me, that I loath then to have go through and resort my pack then having to do it twice in one sitting.

Supplies, gold, xp all come and go really, it's more a matter of not having the time or simply not having the IC inclination to go along, when there is nothing more that I want to do then go, do some dangerous or different quests (so long as they don't involve perm death, I've a dislike for such most of the time, though I enjoyed my last one).

That might just be me though.

They do IIRCly work on heavy as well as the massive crystals as well, but not the large crystals, never tried it on a weak/jaggered/slight.

However it's been quite  awhile since I've used them.

It was fun to go out being given to the devil as a sacrifice before all hell broke loose in town.

As much as I'll miss Merry, he was likely going to die in Tagnus's Tournament anyhow and be a giant arse devil's sacrifice seemed like a pretty way to go out.

Still not back, still rather sick was only popping on for Mort's event, however if the medicine I'm on now does it's thing I might be back early next week.

Also cheers for the crazy crazy fun down in Fugue Felix.
