As I understand, Druids receive their patrol bonuses because of their isolationist nature - meaning it is much harder for them to quest with groups - and because they must go to dangerous areas with strong monsters to complete their patrols. Upper Sanctuary is small, safe, and filled with players that can band together for group quests.

Quote from: Pompeiiya;363775Victorié's theme is a lovely Pompeii-Radioactive mashup (by Bastille and Imagine Dragons).

I have no idea if that's an appropriate theme song but I love both of those bands. Great mashup.

Bug Reports / Crippled Leg and Freedom of Movement
December 23, 2013, 08:29:51 PM
FoM removes the -20% movement speed for being crippled and it is not reapplied at the end of the spell's duration.

Back briefly to get some advertisement out for my new planned Pathfinder campaign. Here's the pitch:

Where am I? Why am I? Awakening from comatose amnesia in a bizarre and unfamiliar environment, these questions will be the first to strike your character as he or she struggles to adjust to their new, alien circumstances. With only each other to rely on and speak to, your party will endeavour to find their way back home however they can, seeking to overcome the bizarre and trying tribulations awaiting them. The world they now inhabit is like nothing they have ever seen before, and the entire land seems to be pregnant with a pervading sense of emptiness. On their quest to discover the reason for their being in this place, and the sinister truth behind the ominous world, they may grow to despise it - or fall in love with it.

This campaign, based in a homebrew setting, will be my first attempt at long-term adaptable storywriting and DMing. I expect the plotline to last roughly six months, running three-to-four hour sessions at a set time every week. Players can expect to encounter a wide variety of challenging dungeons, drawing on multiple fictional archetypes including Steampunk, Sci-fi, traditional fantasy and Gothic. I cannot explain more as to what to expect without giving spoilers to the plot, but I can assure readers that combat mechanics will be made use of - both in PvE and PvP.

We will not be using the Advanced Players' Guide. The core rulebook for Pathfinder is the only source necessary for this campaign.

Characters should come from Faerun, the Forgotten Realms setting, in their history and background. No class from the core rulebook is restricted. Magic and divine classes are playable and will work as intended - characters can be of any alignment, gender and common race. Discuss with me personally if you wish to play an uncommon race - I can be reached every day on my skype account which is lkst@hotmail.co.uk.

The campaign will not launch until I have finished writing at least half of the story. From that point I will be able to develop further each week with material from the party. By this I do not mean to imply that the campaign will be heavily railroaded - far from it - but I do not wish to go blindly into the campaign completely reliant on improvisation. You can expect me to have finished writing within the month.

Create character sheets on Myth-Weavers, including a character background that will require family details, and forward them to me on Skype for review. I will accept 4-5 players for this campaign.

See you in Cynoria. Good luck.

Character Creation Parameters:

Standard Fantasy ability scores. 15 points to assign.
Average wealth for your class to spend.
Level 2.

Bug Reports / Illithids are penguins?
October 29, 2013, 10:50:02 PM

The Society of the Ordered Mind's illithid statue looks like a penguin. The illithid boss in [spoilers] also looks like a penguin to me.

To note: Fresh NWN, only ever ran EFU launcher, only ever played EFU.
