Missing Items From Inventory

Every now and then I notice that items will simply vanish from my inventory. I will be looking at an item, then a few moments later, it will not be there. No message in the combat window. I can't establish any pattern and no particular item seems to vanish more than another, but I am 100% positive this is occurring.

It is strictly impossible for an item to disappear from one's inventory without a notice in the system log. :/

I think, he means he'd get the "X item lost", but not anything EfU added?

Do you know if your PC file was leto'ed by a DM at any point?

Are these items in bags/boxes? Could it be that these containers are reverted from their store-bought form to the blueprint they were based on, and you simply don't recognize them anymore?

Well, one of the times an entire bag went missing with everything in it. Every other time though (there's been about four instances of this I can remember distinctly) the items have just been in my inventory proper.

Sometimes when you drop items in certain areas, like @areas, they are instantly cleaned off the floor. I doubt you did this with your bag, though.

Didn't we have this same issue with a few players back early in EfU? I thought that was due to over packing of an inventory / refill mechanics. Any chance this is the same?

Nope, inventory was nowhere near full.

The universe's way of giving everyone else on the server a chance, imo.

Seems like a previously-undocumented feature to me, all this.

Caddies, you may not remember, but the time you logged in before the item went missing did you do a lot of item transfers or trading?

I traded/changed items before and when i have cancelled the inventory exchange screen they have "bumped" other items in my inventory, sometimes you drop them on the ground.... but if you are in places where that can't happen (sitting down etc.) they have disappeared.

A long shot but could that have been it and you just didn't notice that you never got them back?
