Bounties Quest- Unable to take it

I'm not sure if the bounties quest is broken, or if it simply has an inscrutable way of saying someone has it already.

On inquiry regarding the bounties to Pickhem, he indicates you can ask him about them, but the only option from there is "nevermind"

I've encountered this problem every time I've tried to grab the bounties quest. Broken??

The conversation is weird. I thought it was bugged until I realised that you had to go down a different conversation tree to get the bounty quest. try all his conversation options.

There's only:

"About those bounties..."

and

"Nevermind".

The requirement to speak with him first should just be removed, even though it does make more sense ICly.

It is a bit inconvenient to have to visit the quest giver after every reset.

It failed for me too, last night. Harriet Thistlespike took the quest, the when I tried to I couldn't see the option to take it. There were as others have said, only 2 options. It seems to be that this counts as a quest given out, so if someone takes it in advance, it locks it fro anyone else.

Test it now. What didn't work yesterday that I tried to fix is just going to leave me confused when I want to know what works now.
