Tinkering Issues

The Tinkering product "Interlinked Plates" is labelled as "Base Item: Crafting Base Material". However, it is not accepted as an ingredient, giving the "Crafting: This isn't a valid ingredient!" message.

I do not know if a specific schematic type is intended for this, so am not certain if it is intended behaviour or not. However, I have not had non-final products rejected in this fashion before.
