It seems that My Mage, gets her frist circle summons for only 5 points, whilst there are other mages which thiers cost 10. An issue here? We both have Greater spell focus in it.

If your feats are the same then you are probably not summoning from the same summoning theme. There are no guarantees that the creatures of any two summoning themes will have the same summoning cost.
