Hey everyone, after reading Hounds amazing intro story for the Crownless, it made me realize I have really missed the aristocracy and all its associated plots, intrigues, feats of arms, and general snobbishness. So I have decided to start up a House Orza group and really get into the Peerage and all it entails. If anyone is interested in joining me hit me up here or on IRC.

Recent in-game events have left House Orza, the original baddies and badasses since early days of EFU5, quite barren and devoid of threatening individuals. While House Orza naturally draws and houses thugs and aggressive 'our way or the die-way'-mentality PCs, this does not necessarily mean you need to always have a PvP-oriented mindset, though garbing yourself in the iconic orange outfit does make you a stand-out target for those who have a bone to pick with the House, so if that scares you off you're better served trying to have your INT dumped fighter join Glitt where the only 1v1 you need to win is a DC 12 Fort save :)

Unlike Velstra, Orza prefers to hunger, so be sure to have some sort of drive or ambition intended for your character, such as a lust for power or a desire for glory through arms. Unlike Nephezar, the orange bad boys prefer to prey rather than pray, so characters with a do-or-die mentality will find both success and recognition in short order: if you want something done or someone dead, do it or lose face! And lastly, unlike Sunpurse, Orza prefers to kill rather than be killed, so make sure you have a plan to stay alive as long as possible to help the House succeed in its goals, whether that be through mechanical prowess or clever yet forceful diplomacy.

If you have a winner's mentality and don't shy away from using (unnecessary) violence to back up your character's threats, house Orza might be a good fit for an already established human mercenary looking for a master to serve, or perhaps a mechanically weak crafter or merchant who is looking for some well-dressed thugs to protect his interests without having to resort to those pesky Ticker guards. If you think you have the chops to follow in the footsteps of such fearsome PCs such as Naomi, Craster and Hafit,  don't hesitate to seek out an Orzan retainer in-game or otherwise approach any of the current Orzan cast OOC to set up the tryout and see you outfitted in short order :)

Read the current general for Peerage houses here for the general requirements of joining peerage houses, and read the first message in this thread for a short blurb on house Orza. You can also talk to the NPC Capo Piotr in the Spinning Groat to give your character firsthand a prompt introduction to the House as well.

Bumping. If you're a 'palatable' demihuman, or perhaps even a useful monster, there might be a place for you serving house Orza as well! Apply today with an Orzan retainer near you and be part of ongoing plots immediately, for free!

I love cats

House Orza is a badass house with perhaps one of the most epic backstories and plenty of room for all manner of concepts. Even epic diplomatic concepts that want to whitewash House Orza and make us a respectactable house. Of course given the house's history and reputation all manner of gutterscum and the most honorless and lowclass of thugs will have a place. It is also one of the few equal opprutunity employers and would totally embrace non humans willing to bend the knee to Lord Orza.

It is also basically a MAFIA FAMILY (that in some ways reminds more of Ticker Square than the Peerage Ward)!

The OGs might've cleared out, but there's room for new boys.

The rough, gruff and tough are encouraged to apply. As much as the current character occupying the faction is more sociable and diplomatic, she is but one aspect of the faction's narrative and a minor one, at that. Hot tempers run high and flexing is the standard for the orange and black.

Giving this a bump. House Orza has a new vassal in House Vindascas, a famous reputation, eligible bachelors, and is open to more concepts than one might think. If you have an existing PC in need of some direction or you're considering what to play next, give us a look.
