This refers to the tower that the Kingfires burn atop of in the Forgotten Forest.

The door on the exterior of the tower, and the door on the interior of the tower, are not linked together.  This is to say:

The Wyrm Watcher Key works to lock and unlock it from the outside, but not the inside.

When the door in the outside area is closed or opened, the door on the inside area does not react, and vice versa.

People attempting to do a /c knock on the exterior door, never generate the *knock* message on the interior area.

Bug Reports / Bundles of Herbs
April 25, 2013, 05:13:22 PM
I love these objects.  What a great way to cut down on the space required to carry a bunch of medicinal herbs.

However, I just last night noted that if you "charged" them up to 50 uses, that they become useless.  No matter what you target with them, you only get a message that "This bundle is already too full", or something along those lines.

Subject says it all.  It was there last reset, and now is not.  The one that ports you down from the tower is still present, however.

Suggestions / Quest for Remedy
February 22, 2013, 06:24:40 PM
The quest given by Physician Isaac Solomon. (lvl 2-5, party size 1)

This quest needs to be looked at.  Back in EFUA, it was doable with only a very small amount of risk.

Now though, it's ridiculously hard, and broken to boot.

The three ingredients you need to collect.  One is underwater with Shark / Larval spawns near it.  The next is In Withered Lands, with H'balan Undead spawns nearby.  The last is unbelievably waaaaaaaaaay out in the unreachable (for a lvl 5) reaches of the island.  This last ingredient used to be in the area immediately outside of the ruins, the road to the Cliffside Waterfalls, which is no longer there.  It was moved to the aforementioned far reaches for some unfathomable reason.

So, I did the quest.  It took me near to half an hour to do.  Netted me 131 XP at lvl 4.  Cost me 5 invis potions and a death, and the reward was broken.  Isaac looks into his bag, and gives you nothing but 25 gold.  He used to also give you some medical related item.

My Suggestion is this:

Move the Vidician Alge to the Waters of the River Tear area.  Still accessible to nubs, but with a hint of danger from the spawns down there.

Move the Grazen Herb Flower to the "Along the River Tear" area.

Move the Silurian Lycopoda to the Crossroads.

By making these changes, the quest once more becomes doable, and you dont need to change the dialogue on Solomon overly much when he speaks to you of where to find each of these.

As an aside, and on that note, his thoughts on the Lycopoda right now are -waaaaaay- off.

Finally, hook him back up to his loot table.

His dialogue on the Lycopoda right now is -waaaaaay- off.

He no longer gives out medical loot as he once did, though his dialogue speaks of him digging into a bag to give you something.

See related suggestion post.

Suggestions / Rangers / Chain Shirts
January 25, 2013, 06:45:48 PM
: if EFU could find a way to make Chain Shirts into Light armor, like in 3.5 rules, that would be amazing

: Possibly cheat by applying two-handed and ambidexterity to chain shirt when a ranger dons it :S

: It sounds like one of those things you could put on the suggestion forum and risk actually having implemented :S

: Have dual-wield "work" on chain shirt armor.

Does not seem to give either the Use Poison feat, nor the OnHit Poison when raging.

For factions that would obviously have priests, an NPC that will cure your withering in return for an amount of "Favour" pts, would be cool.

Screen Shots & Obituaries / The Fury, Erasmus
April 15, 2012, 07:20:24 PM
And so it ends.  This is the first character I have felt was worthwhile a screenshot thread since the Underdark, so enjoy:

The Build:

The time spent:

He did some quests:

He hunted some Ordersmen:

He even caught some:

He took some oaths:

He cared for a Tree:

He had a great conversation with Senacherib once.  I consider this his finest moment, really:

And he had some loot:

And last, but not least, I give you, the TERMINATURE:

Everyone who participated in his story, you are as much a credit for him being what he is, as I was.  Thank you.

Suggestions / Crafting Changes
January 30, 2012, 09:13:26 PM
From the standpoint of someone who has dedicated a lot of time to crafting on my current character, I just want to express my dislike of the recent changes to Crafting.

If the issue was that items that were "hard to discover" were becoming too readily available and filling the inventories of players and unbalancing the module, then some small changes to the items in question, or the addition of a cooldown (similar to the one that was added) would seem to have been a sufficient remedy.

The additions to the crafting DC though have effectively made recipes that players have invested time in obtaining basically useless.  What use is the recipe at all if the DC has been ballooned to unreachable levels?

I've read the announcement post, and if I understand it properly, it seems to indicate that recipes made with rarer reagents will have lower DCs, so existing recipes remain at the higher DCs, correct?

I'm unsure if the DM team understands the amount of time that is invested in order to be able to get to a point where you can do these things.  Not just in experimenting, learning recipes, gathering the stuff you need to test with, or to craft with, but also the actual time spent just doing it.

Add to that the fact that a pile of characters that were once "top of their craft" just got relegated to "rank amateur".  I mean, so what if a recipe still exists, if you cant ever succeed at crafting it.  Might as well have just deleted all crafting recipes.

Anyways, my 2 cents.

Suggestions / Add Fey Crystals to Gathering
November 20, 2011, 05:08:15 AM
Pretty much says it all.   Please add Fey Crystals to the list of rare reagents that can be turned in on the gathering quest, so non Watchers have something to do with them.

Not sure if its a bug, but both myself and another player have not seen a single plant for gathering lately.  I dont mean the gardening plants, I mean the Fruits and Nuts plants.

Could scimitars be added to the stocks of the merchants at one or more of the merchants in the Aerie, the Isolated Grove, and the Stewards Faction HQ?

Suggestions / Panju the Blind
October 04, 2011, 07:40:56 PM
Please bring back Panju the Blind as a questgiver, his quest can remain where it was.

Imo, put Panju in either the Aerie, or the Isolated grove.
