Fair enough, disregard due to stupidity.

Bug Reports / Ashen Mirage level 8 token not granted
December 27, 2021, 03:17:35 AM
As the title says, when reaching AM level 8, I didn't get the two tokens it's supposed to get. One to switch places with a clone, another for fancy VFX only. Resetting the perk, relogging etc doesn't make them appear either.

I've been pretty busy with work for the last months, not enough time to dedicate to playing a Peerage person who should be in the know of things, so I'm just taking a break. Not retiring my character or anything, Grayson's out there somewhere, mucking about.

Bug Reports / Re: New Glitt bugs
June 20, 2020, 05:33:40 PM
Okay, found another Glitt bug with the updated masterwork armours.

There's no masterwork version for the platemail armour in Wull's shop. There is one by name, but it's a medium armour, statwise it appears to be the breastplate's masterwork version with the wrong name. So the current 'platemail' needs to be renamed as a masterwork breastplate, and the actual heavy armour platemail version needs to be added.

Little update in case this is still in need of fixing. The ice arrows drop from morghoul archers at least. Also, when I pick them up myself, they stay as ice arrows. So it's the trading that makes them change. Changeling arrows?

I have no idea, other PCs keep giving me theirs. Best guess? The kobold lair quest in the Crosscurrents.

So, I've had this happen to me a few times, now. Another PC gives mine a small stack of ice arrows. The ones with the picture of a black shaft and white feathers, doing 1 extra cold damage. But when they transfer over to my inventory, they turn into goblin acid arrows, which do 1 acid damage instead. It's a pretty weird bug, and only seen it happen with these ice arrows.

I'll add the malfunctioning recruitment convo on Genovalio here, too. Doesn't work with a PC nearby, keeps saying to get one or a DM NPC.

Introductions and Group Management / House Glitt
April 21, 2020, 08:46:47 PM
Okay, so house Glitt is open again, standing on wobbly legs. That offers a unique situation for people to jump into. There's a nice framework in place, with many things left to do.

- A long-term faction quest to undertake at some point.
- day-to-day fund gathering to improve and work on the house itself, its armoury and whatnot (nice for quiet days, gathering groats and such).
- growing numbers via recruitment, working together, building camaraderie etc.
- As a reformed house and perhaps for the first time in recent Peerage history, Glitt is considered a serious noble house, and that brings with it the politics and the intrigue if that's your fancy.

For the moment Glitt stands out as a if not quite good a house on the alignment scale, then at least very close to lawful. There are clearly defined traits to be found IC which all members of the house should uphold and aspire to (Which are really good if you want to play a Peerage paladin in a house and not worry about suitability). That said, nothing's stopping a true bastard from joining, but they might get some pressure on them, especially in the beginning. The more lawful, neutral and good-oriented characters will have an easier time.

Low number of active PCs also means it's real easy to get recognised to put yourself on the map.

You can ping me on Discord to talk about joining, or approach Grayson Pilkins in-game. As I am currently the only active PC member, and can't be online 24/7, I'm sure the DMs will help you get in as well.

Bug Reports / New Glitt bugs
April 21, 2020, 08:32:46 PM
I've come across at least one bug in the new Glitt house, but I'll list both.

First one is a missing spawn point. I talked to Genovalio and the system message said it "Set your spawn point to:" with no area mentioned like usual. When the server later crashed, I spawned in ring 100 instead.

Another possible bug is Armsman Wull missing the faction shop. According to the dialogue, he says something about Skudge wasting and stealing most of the resources, but "Here's what we have for now", followed by the convo breaking and an automatic line of "No shop was found". So it's either a bug, or an intentional thing that might change in the future. Disregard if the latter.

General Discussion / Re: V5 Feedback Thread

Agreed with the above.

There is, and will be, conflict between areas. It's not there all the time, but it develops organically when certain individuals get involved. Then their friends get involved and there you have it.

Having the Dispensary be more 'sporty' than a proper kill or be killed fight is actually a good thing. It used to be a very lethal thing to do, up to a point where only a handful of people dared attend and the whole thing lost its purpose. And even so, the more sporty image it has now was mainly achieved due to IC actions of characters punishing others who used it as a cheap way to murder someone downed during a bout. It can still happen, has happened already, but OOC enforcing it will just make it the playing ground of a strong group of buddy PCs, rendering it useless.

Also, with all the cataclysmic events happening recently, it's no wonder most (not all, mind you) PCs tend to suffer each other better, because there are bigger, common threats to face. And again, this is caused by IC things happening, not because players just agreed not to be at each others' throats.

I'll always remember it fondly.

"Grayson, get your ASS over here".

I got into the wagon really late, my earlier PCs didn't really interact. One died before Mairead's appearance, I think, and the other was in Ticker. But, I got to see stuff up close at the end. The rag-tag group of Geno, Grayson and Mairead was fun to do the few times we managed it.

I still maintain this to remind me of the setting pretty well, because of its obscurity:

Suggestions / Re: The Frequency of Throwables in PvE

It's possible. I mean, Ring Gnat swarms often drink potions if they're not downed fast enough.
